The first change is in the title of the event itself which has been broadened to encompass organic resources within its remit. It is perhaps true to say that in the environmental area, legislatory changes are one the biggest drivers for technology advances and the past few years have been relatively quite with regards to legislation that impacts directly on biosolids. By contrast organic wastes are now firmly on everyone’s agenda and major changes are required both to change the underlying philosophy of how we deal with them and to introduce technologies that can unleash their resource potential. The experiences gained over the past decade in the handling and treatment of biosolids, should provide a headstart for our delegates in tapping this emerging new market. 13 - 15 November 2006 Wakefield, United Kingdom Link: http://www.aqua-enviro.net/calendar_detail.asp?id=31 ------------------------------ World Recycling Forum - Shanghai '06 International Conference & Exhibition on Car, Electronics and Battery Recycling 14 - 17 November 2006 Shanghai, China, People's Rep.
